Malgrat que la Setmana Santa ja no se celebra amb la mateixa passió religiosa d'èpoques anteriors, la passió pels dolços es manté intacta, si s'ha de jutjar per la quantitat de postres tradicionals que es preparen en aquestes dates. Algunes són molt conegudes a tota Catalunya, d'altres s'elaboren únicament en determinades localitats o comarques. Però totes són econòmiques, fàcils de fer i són delicioses.
