The Tordera and Riera d'Arbúcies Route (the Tourdera) is a signposted tour of about 70 kilometres and with an elevation gain of 1,800 meters. If you look at the distances, you might think that this is a very long route, but do not worry, because it is divided into sections of low, intermediate or more demanding difficulty, so you can decide what to do depending on your desire, time and preparation.

It is therefore a perfect route for walking or cycling. In fact, if you like the latter idea, but don't have your own bike, you have many options for renting one, depending on the section where you want to spend the day. In some of the towns along the route, such as Blanes, Malgrat de Mar, Palafolls, Tordera, Arbúcies, Sant Celoni or Sant Esteve de Palautordera, you will find several shops where you can rent a bike and enjoy a day that is sure to go smoothly!

In addition, the route features many connection options with public transport, which you can find on the Tourdera website. Thus, you can do many sections of the route without taking the car, which is a much more economical and sustainable way to enjoy the route.
